Hotel is undergoing building work. TV could use an upgrade.

Such a lovely place. Although has building works ongoing can see past that. I will look to stay again later in the year,

The lady at the reception was lovely, showed me the front door key etc.

The room 6 was extremely cold. The Shower did not have hot water and dripped... I noticed that there was a huge rip in the floor vinyl and the shower was evidently dirty. The room , cracks in the mirrors, window did not shut and had a huge draft. The Reception area smelt of tobacco and the carpet floors were absolutely filthy. My bed had black hairs all over them. I ended up staying elsewhere, collecting my belongings in the morning due to this experience of uncomfort.

I booked a room in this property and was phoned an hour or 2 later to say it was double booked. I was then told that they had an annex down the road that I could stay in, I asked what it was like and they said it was comfortable so I drove to the lodge to be met at reception and was told to follow a guy to the annex, I was expecting to walk but then had to follow him in my car where he took me to the gateway crossroads in Cleckheaton which looked like a drug den it was disgusting, I asked him what it was and he said it was more like a HMO. Needless to say I refused to stay and ended up staying at somewhere much more expensive but nicer. I am extremely disappointed with the Gomersal lodge and found their treatment disgusting.
