"Great stay and good location for the wildlife park."

9.0

Was lovely quiet location and perfect for what we needed. Only 15 mins away from cotswold wildlife park.

You can easily hear other guests in the rooms next door and above, 1 lady decided to make a call at 5am was very loud!

"A relaxed and comfortable place to stay, and good value."

8.0

It was more like a motel than hotel but none the worse for that. Compact room but it had all that we needed. Breakfast was served in the main building and was good with self service except for the cooked course which was hot, fresh and served with a smile. It was a relaxed stay. Easy parking bout the parking area was deeply rutted.

The car park area was poor.

Friendly staff Room okay

Breakfast was okay It would have been nice to have been given the option of how i would like eggs cooked But all freshly cooked. Did have issue with ants due to a bit of popcorn being dropped in the morning bathroom was full but advised them as not really their fault Bed was quite soft but again personal preference

We liked the private entrance so we didn't have to go in through the bar.

"Disappointing"

4.0

The hotel is situated in a beautiful location and seemed clean

The welcome we received from whom seemed to be the manager was not the most warming at all. Our room was comfortable and clean however was very noisy. The outdoor accommodation I’m sure would have been much quieter where we thought we would have been situated. Going back to the staff of the hotel, we had to pay £5 for my five year old boy to have breakfast the next morning which we were absolutely more than happy to pay for but when we were told my son would not be allowed anything hot and could only have cereal I was really disappointed. We even decided not have breakfast the next morning due to lack of sleep and awkward atmosphere. We have stayed in many accommodations throughout the Cotswolds and this one was the worst by far. A shame really as such a pretty area but the gentlemen made us feel cheap and unwelcome.
