The Vines Hotel

Room was very clean, and spacious. Staff were excellent and welcoming.

The shower was the only let down. Next to no water pressure, and both showers I had were cold showers as there was no hot water.

The locatio.

Shower tray overflowed, however careful one was. Awful potholes in driveway. Single beds too narrow. Bar billiards table in dining room space which opened into the bar.

Lovely staff, very helpful and welcoming. Comfortable room. Near a lovely playground for the children.

A shame the restaurant was closed, although we could order-in food for delivery from elsewhere.

Lovely room, clean tidy, staff were great.

Took to long to organise a cooked breakfast. So we had to leave without it. I would stay breakfast should start at 7.30am as some people may need to leave earlier.

The area.

The photos of the hotel made it look like a different property. There was only one hand tail / mould in the en-suite / the carpet had stains / the plaster had bad cracks / the stair case leading to the room was not great / the drive & carpark was very bad with pot holes everywhere. It was a shame as it could be a very nice place but needs a lot of work. The pub area was nice and up together. The breakfast was good and there was no grease. It was quite clean and the staff were friendly. I think this is a honest sum up of the property. The photos are misleading of the bedrooms.

Quiet room with modern shower room and a lovely mirror. Free and covenient parking. Breakfast is very nice. Bread is tasty and we have a variety of fruits to choose.

The path to the rear parking need to repair.
