Excellent hotel. Friendly, attentive staff. Nothing too much trouble. Clean, tidy & lovely food. We were part of a coach trip &, even with 50 people to serve, food was a hot serve yourself & plentiful. Breakfast was replenished in a timely manner so always plenty of choice.

Not much! One of the bulbs was blown in the bedside lights.

Our staff who stayed are used to Premier Inn standards and found the hotel bedrooms very old fashioned, minimum choice and expensive food menu which resulted in them eating out.

Consistent reliable provision of many good facilities. Wonderful welcoming staff. Large bedrooms and comfortable beds. Spotlessly clean throughout. Small, pleasant, unexpected “viewing platforms” with seating, on upper floors.

Generally standard facilities with little flair or distinctiveness. Dinner menu very restricted and unhealthy. Basement breakfast room rather depressing; breakfast ok but nothing special and never seems to vary. Some showers have very poor thermostatically do run hot and cold intermittently on seconds timescales.
