Needs updated: mattress old Door in bathroom broken tub old fiberglass

Front desk is unavailable most of time. Room was not cleaned so had to get clean towels. Had to wake owner up. In which he felt I was putting him out for his service when his employee did not clean our room

It was convenient to the Boone Scenic Railroad, the Speedway and downtown. The facilities were clean and basic. The pool was unusable, it was freezing cold. And usual COVID issues cancelled breakfast. It served our purposes for a brief overnight stay. Stay was friendly and helpful.

Comments were concerning room 124. The bathroom sink drained very slowly. The bathtub is plastic and there was water under it so when you walked it felt like you were walking on a water mattress. Then you get a sewer gas smell. The motel is very old and not well maintained. it didn't cost much to stay but I wouldn't go there again.

The worker who checkedus in was nice & helpful. The problem in my room was the smell; very strong musty odor. The problem in my sister's room next door was when she stepped in the shower and the tub moved & a dark colored water oozed out around it with a horrible smell.

Older hotel. Doors all stiff and outside door did not close. While clean. It was not comfortable. It smelled old and my air did not help humidity. Very sticky.

The room was not the cleanest there was open bars of soap and shower no free breakfast

All information said their was a free breakfast, but I dont consider a cup of coffee as a free breakfast, they need to remove this from ALL information everywhere. They had an old piece of paper saying because of COVID, but those restrictions have long been removed, so not providing a free breakfast but advertising it as such, seems to me to be fraud and needs to be removed, or give a discount and tell the client. Also, had issues with the TV, which they did get to work after a while.
