Welcoming, clean and ideal location

Breakfast not served until 10am. Even a continental buffet offering, (cereal/ fruit/ yogurt etc would be better than a couple of bits in a paper bag collected the night before.

Friendly, helpful staff. We got a breakfast box to take as we had to leave before breakfast.

Room was fine, nothing special, but a handy stopover on way north.

the roof was leaking causing the room door to jam, the staff moved us to another room no problem

Die Unterkunft war sehr gemütlich und schön, eher traditionell und deshalb hat man sich geborgen und gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Das Personal war super freundlich, hilfsbereit und sehr entgegen kommend. Das Essen war traumhaft und köstlich. Ich würde dieses Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen. Es hat mir sehr gut gefallen.

Die Lage ist etwas abseits und deswegen hat man eine sehr schlechte Verbindung zu Glasgow selbst. Ab 18:00 fahren keine Busse mehr und Sonntags fährt keiner. Mit der Bahn kann man von Neilston direkt nach Glasgow fahren aber von Neilston nach Uplawmoor muss man dann zu Fuß laufen (45min) geht über Feldwege usw. Deswegen ist die Ortschaft nur gut wenn man gerne Wandern geht. Das habe ich gemacht und das war super. Es gibt viele Wanderwege rundherum.

Romm was clean and staff very helpful

The staff were helpful and polite. Breakfast was good. Plenty of parking in a location which felt secure.

The room was fairly clean, but it was small. Some things were a bit tired (wall paper around main light switch, shower cubical and window frames for example) and could do with a freshen up. The shower itself was poor. Hot water comes through eventually, but the flow was hardly worth the getting wet.
