The staff and atmosphere. Spacious rooms. Good dining and beers.

Outside Glasgow in a very tiny village - which is obvious though. Positive: very quiet.

Breakfast was nice and staff were lovely!

Very run down rooms. Wall paper peeling off, fabric on the beds all ripped. In desperate need of a revamp.

A huge thank you to Lisa and the team! We travelled all the way from Manchester to Millport — a six-hour journey — only to face a further nine-hour wait due to the ferry being suspended and eventually cancelled. 😞 Lisa went above and beyond by offering us a room that also welcomed our dog, especially when everywhere else was fully booked last minute. 🐶 From the moment we arrived, the service and support were incredible. We were welcomed with warm smiles, which made all the difference after such a long, stressful day. The hotel had a lovely atmosphere, the rooms were spotless, and the bed was honestly one of the comfiest I’ve slept in for a long time. Sadly, we didn’t get a chance to try the food — but if the delicious smell was anything to go by, we definitely missed out! 🫶🏼 Thank you again — we’ll absolutely be back!

There was nothing we didn’t like, everyone went above and beyond for us.

This is a review for the restaurant only. No issue with the service, which was friendly and efficient. The food however, ….shockingly bad! Possibly the worst chicken & leek pie I’ve ever tasted, stale pastry, bland and watery sauce & almost inedible vegetables which were also tasteless & overcooked. At £17, it fell very short of the mark. The sticky toffee pudding was also a tasteless disappointment & again, at just under £8, dreadful value for money.

Comfortable and good service. Lovely meal.

Breakfast was Okay!! But it would have been Nice to have a Variation. Cereal. Yogurts. Fruit.

Everything was fine Except Breakfasts.
