"Quite Adequate"

We had a two-bedroom apartment, a living room, and a balcony. The living room furniture was old and mismatched -- it reminded me of a grad student's apartment, but everything was clean and functional. We considered 65 euro a night divided by two persons to be a bargain.

"Worst place I ever stayed"

Only place I never want to see again! Felt unsafe, dingy, mis_ represented and lack of customer service. Dismal. Couldn't wait to get out of there. Very few choices in Messina as alternatives. Booked for two nights and stayed one. If I could have gotten a car in the middle of the night I would have been out of there. No one spoke any English and could care less about you! Have I made my point? Stay clear of this place.

"Convenient stay in Messina"

We arrived late and were let in remotely. Our room key was ready in the foyer. The room was furnished elegantly. The bed was comfortable and everything was very clean. After checking in we went down the street and had a great focacce.

"Not clean"

Cheap and cheerless. As a one night stop it just about fits the bill so long as you are not looking for anything special and are just waiting for your time slot on the ferry to go to the mainland.

"Messina hotel close to cites."

Hotel is close to the ferry drop from mainland Italy. Also walking distance to most of the cites. Good size room and decent size bathroom. Clean and charming. Call ahead if you can. This is a small hotel and the few staff it has might be out getting supplies. Recommend.
