Stardust Motel

Location was great, bed was comfortable, room was clean.

The cleaning stuff used was a strong smell, the bathroom light made a rattling sound, and the plastic on the pillows (I understand why), were a little uncomfortable

Owners nice and accommodating. Building and funiture old.

The motel might not look nice from the outside. It's situated on a small hill enough to have a nice view to the surroundings. The motel was well lighted at night. Our room / bathroom were very clean. Two full beds, fridge, microwave. The owner is nice and accommodating to our request of 2nd floor room. We stayed for one night, only came to the motel in the evening and left early in the morning. Would stay there again and recommend to our family/friends.

So far, nothing to dislike for a budget friendly stay.

Stained chairs, carpet, lampshades and rusting lamps, uncomfortable mattresses and pillows, no heat in bathroom so it was freezing to walk on the floor

More towels, shampoo and soap

The TV was OK and there was a microwave so I could heat up the sandwich I had. The room was clean and did have outlets for chargers.

There was no breakfast. I had asked booking.com for a hotel near me. Part of the reason was that I had just crossed from RI into CT and the roads were not as good. However, to get to the Stardust, I had to go 3 miles South on I-95 (the road I was on), then make a U turn to go 3 miles NORTH on I-95 and go an additional 4 miles to get to the motel. As noted it was snowing and the roads had not been cleared. In addition, the "host" did not give me a wifi password and since it was clear that I had awakened him (even tho it said you could check in up to 11 PM and it was only 10:30), I decided not to pursue that.

I never leave a bad review but this place was bad, permanent resident next door. It needs tons of maintenance; rotted wood posts, building materials laying around. Old Jeep parked in lot, looked to be younger folks living out of the vehicle, guy was shaving from a mirror hung from the side window of the jeep. Dingy room, did not sleep under the covers...for $150 what a deal (right)
