The Buttery

It was such a relief to have AC in the room. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious.

I was on the top floor so too many stairs, but that is my only complaint.

Central location

Toilet was not cleaned. Shower was mouldy. Groups of people talking loudly outside in the square until 6am when the street Cleaners turned up. Can open the sash window but it does not stay open.

The hotel is right inside the University of Oxford and it only takes a few minutes to walk to the nearest library. Downstairs of the hotel are shops, coffee shops and restaurants, which are very lively. After 11 p.m., it becomes very quiet. The hotel doesn't have an elevator. The stairs are rather narrow and the room facilities are a bit old. However, its bathroom is brand new, very clean and comfortable.

街の中心地にありますから、便利です。スタッフは親切でした。朝食はついてないけど、近くのカフェで割引で朝食できます。

狭いし、古いし、あまり快適ではありませんでしたが、オックスフォードでの料金を考えると文句は言えません。寝るだけに徹すれば問題ありません。日本語名がバタフライとなっていますが、日本語訳間違っていますよね。

Staff da receção muito simpatico

O quarto virado para rua, não conseguimos dormir a noite toda, barulho no exterior. Deviam trocar as jenelas e pensar no isolamento sonoro. Falta tomadas USB

The staff were absolutely delightful and helpful. The amenities in the room were excellent. Only problem was getting into the bath to shower (were in our 80s!!)

The stairs were very difficult for a couple in their 80s but if we could have had a room on the lowest floor our stay would ahve been perfect.

se equivocaron feo al embalar y mudar sin nuestro permiso todos nuestras pertenencias de una habitación a otra, además extraviaron internamente en ese traspaso una valija en donde estaba toda nuestra documentación y pasaportes, estuvimos a punto de hacer la denuncia policial por robo. Gracias a Dios luego todo reapareció. Nos hicieron experimentar momentos muy angustiados por todo ello. Inexplicable, dado que debe ser un hotel y personal muy experimentado.

The location was fantastic and extremely cheap for the area. Clean bedding.

The room was clean but very tired. The bathroom has seen better days. The room we booked said it was over looking road street but our view was just the back of the building and bins etc. We only stayed one night but if we had stayed longer we may have asked to swap rooms. Just needs a little TLC as the building is lovely.
