The Garrison Hotel

Amazing location in a former garrison fort. Excellent transport links into Sheffield centre via tram or bus. Close to supermarket for supplies. The hotel is a little faded but very welcoming. Lovely courtyard garden.

Parking area located away from reception, which was accessible through the bar when open. Friendly reception staff. Free view was intermittent in the room. Wireless phone charging point did not work. Cracks in the toilet seat. Light outside the room filters through the curtains, which really should have been blackout ones. Booked as somewhere to sleep following a long journey from London to attend an early morning funeral. Located close to family, hence the choice but honestly unsure whether I'd stay here again.

Great hotel. Good breakfast 😋. Lovely big room.

Cracking hotel but they need to sort out the breakfast arrangements. Went a couple of weeks ago and the coffee machine is still broken and you can wait for up to 45 mins for you food to come to your table

The Garrison is a lovely friendly place to stay. Rooms are always clean and tidy. The tram is a short walk away, with the city centre a short trip on it.

The hotel was cute. The room was very chilly when we got there earlier than normal check in. Radiator was hard to turn in for first timers. A bit further out from downtown than anticipated. The attached restaurant had a nice breakfast menu/buffet. Staff were courteous .

Historic hotel in need of a refurb. Chalet style rooms. Walk to breakfast was outside into rail, along courtyard and up 2 floors on wooden creaking staircase. No lift. While place feels tired. No brand and overall marketing plan. Randoms pictures and framed butterflies on walls. King size bed room was accessible room with 60s bathroom like a hospital and felt overpriced Nice staff though. Good Yorkshire folk working hard to look after customers.

It was nice and relaxing clean room. Staff were friendly and the evening in the restaurant was nice and plenty of choice. In a great location and easy to find.
