"Great Stay"

It was ideally located for the Christmas event we were attending at the Hillsborough Arena. The facilities were excellent, parking convenient, breakfast was a nice bonus.

"Disappointing visit"

Rooms are reasonably comfortable and clean though in need of a refurb. Breakfast is very average. If you stay here at the weekend be prepared for noisy parties. My impression is the hotel is prioritising these over non party guests. We went into the breakfast room after a noisy party on the Saturday night to find it looking very scuzzy. We had a booking in the restaurant on our first evening and I was emailed the day before to say they couldn’t honour it because of an event. Typical I’m afraid.This was my second stay. I won’t be staying again.

Far better than what I was expecting for the cost, spacious clean and comfortable room with a large bar and dining area, also the staff were great & the breakfast really enjoyable. If you're staying in Sheffield it's not in the centre but only a short tram journey away and definitely better value than anything in the town and a lot quieter as well.

The staff at the Garrison were incredibly accommodating to all my needs, & helpful at all times. The hotel itself is unique, & so well maintained that soon it will have a true retro vibe. Recommend especially if you are visiting, as I was to see Sheffield Wednesday.
