The Rob Roy Guest House

Very pleasant couple made us feel welcome. On large residential road leading into town but little traffic outside rush hour. We were in a back room which was very peaceful. Parking at front or on roadside so valuables need to be brought in. Room compact but had everything we needed, good breakfast and good value.

The hotel was clean and the staff friendly and helpfull. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed for one night and couldn't have asked fro more! Breakfast was excellent, really pleased they offered vegetarian options, and Sarah was a lovely host. She even home bakes shortbread for the rooms, and always cooks extra incase you'd like to buy more... I took 4 bags! :)

The room itself was warm and welcoming, however the beddings had a slight odour to them. My throat hurts after one night there. The breakfast offered only toast with marmalade or honey, youghurt, cereals, juice and coffe/tea. I was told that this was because I had a very early start (left by 9am) There was no staff onsite in the evening after 10, and until I left in the morning. Coffee was limited to a single cup of instant in my room, and a single cup of nespresso available at the breakfast. Staff was friendly at arrival and room was nicely decorated, but apart from that, a disappointing experience.

We had a fabulous day, would certainly recommend this Guesthouse on your way to the tunnel or on your return, Sarah is a very bubbly person and only too willing to help you and make your stay comfortable Chris a d lisa

Short stay in one of the family rooms. Everything as described and more, we will be back again soon:)

Nice people and a comfortable room. Owners could not do more for us. Would recommend.

Lovely hosts, perfect for an overnight stay with our dogs, very welcoming and accomodating. Breakfast cooked to order. Would definitely stay again if using Eurotunnel.

As before, we stayed on our way back from France as well as on the way. Good value, lovely hosts, very welcoming of us and our dogs!

Lovely guest house. Clean, quiet and our room was spacious. Breakfast was delicious and prepared to order. Sara and Jim were gracious. I would recommend this property to everyone.
