Very good, especially breakfast and friendly hosts

Sarah and Jim are very hospitable and accommodating. Overall we felt quite welcome with our three kids. The family room was perfect for an overnight stay before visiting Dover castle which is a fifteen minute drive away. Cot and change mat provided for the little one, and a lovely breakfast included.

Obliging and helpful hosts happy to accommodate dog- help yourself buffet breakfast available for early departure. Only downside was suspicion that car was keyed on road outside overnight (no room in parking area due to late arrival.

Just one night stay the owners were really helpful and friendly and the breakfast was very good, cooked to order. Would recommend the Rob Roy for a short break.

Hosts very friendly, welcoming, efficient, helpful and accommodating. Although small, our room had everything you need and would get in a five star hotel. Location great for exploring the fabulous Folkstone Warren, the Town and other local sights and has on-site parking. Breakfast was just right with choice and thoughtful touches. Sarah was very helpful with information and and advice and felt like a friend by the time we left.

We were made very welcome by Sarah and given a ground floor room with access to small patio area. Excellent location near town centre and just 12 minutes from Channel Tunnel entrance. Some parking on front drive. Also close to a Tesco Express for stocking up prior to overseas trip.

Sarah always went the extra mile for us and even did our laundry. The room wads on the small side but very comfortable.
