Looking Glass Inn

朝食最高でした。　住宅街にあって、静かで街並みも綺麗だった。　Indygoのバス停がすぐ近くにあり、移動に大変便利だった。

その日から冷え込んだせいもあり、セントラルヒーティングの温度を上げてくれたのですが、器械の騒音（ぼーという音）が気になった。眠れないほどではなかったです。

The continental breakfast was great. Fresh fruit, the blackberries were the best, cereal, and warm muffins. My wife liked the muffins the most. The night before, Innkeeper recommend a local restaurant called Tinker Street. it was within walking distance. We had a wonderful stroll through the fall colors. The food was excellent.

Parking was on the street. But we were able to get lucky and find one right it front of the Inn.

The old inn was just our style and the inn keeper was so friendly. The inn helped us step back in time and it was right around the corner from our night event. The inn keeper was very accommodating and helped us check in early to fit better in your schedule.

No complaints, we had a lovely time. We don't have any suggestions. We would recommend the inn to any one who is looking for a nice little getaway.

This is a beautiful historic building in a lovely, quiet and neighborhood. The home is over 100 years old and as much of the original decor and furniture as possible has been maintained. Needed updates, such as a large shower stall, were well done. Each floor has a butler's pantry where you have access to a refrigerator, hot and cold water, variety of beverages, and free microwave popcorn. I thought the Continental breakfast was excellent, including juice, fruit, hard cooked eggs, yogurt and a large variety of breads and pastries. However, my husband was very disappointed that there were no cooked offerings. The innkeeper recommended that we go to the Tinker Street restaurant for dinner. It was within easy walking distance of the inn so we didn't have to deal with moving the car and parking. It was a wonderful recommendation. We had a peach and burrata salad, crab scampi, and their signature dessert homemade ricotta donuts. It was all excellent. Our only concern about the Looking Glass Inn is that we thought the room might be too warm at night. Although the shared areas of the building were air-conditioned, the rooms are not. And we were unable to open the window to get fresh air. Fortunately, by evening the outside temperature had dropped enough that it wasn't uncomfortable.

TV didn't work. No hot items for breakfast.

We had a delightful overnight stay. Our room, the Willow room, was both elegant and comfortable. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The cold buffet breakfast provided a nice start to the day.

The home is beautiful and the room was spacious and comfortable. Great location.

The shower took quite a while to heat up. Totally expected in an older home, but a warning would have helped!

I liked the room. It was spacious. I didn't have any hot water for my shower. In their guest book it said their was free popcorn and drinks. But the innkeeper said that's no more.

Very good location in an old historic district, in walking distance from President Benjamin Harrison's house. The accommodation was beautiful, lovely porch to sit out on, friendly staff. Good breakfast - fresh fruit, boiled eggs, breads and pastries. Would highly recommend.
