Looking Glass Inn

For the price, it's probably underwhelming, but has its charms and downfalls. Cool old building, but lacks the comfort of modern convenience, such as air conditioning, good lighting, sturdy comfortable furniture, or plentiful outlets. Emily was awesome, but the first desk manager we spoke to was less than helpful when we inquired about a fan for our 85-degree room, saying the weather was "cooling down" and they'd "look into it". Which they did not. Again, cute place if you want history and are willing to sacrifice some comfort and convenience, and Emily was sweet.

Beautiful property. Very quaint, our 1st time at a B&B. Definitely will be back and highly recommend.

Beautiful Victorian home, well appointed. Great location to downtown or getting to other areas easily. The room was large and bathroom very large and well stocked.

Bed was creaky and not the most comfortable- I understand it was a period style but I would take a regular style for increased comfort and no squeezing every time I moved.

The property was beautiful. A house that was built in 1805 it doesn't get any better then that. The Willow Room is the best....blue and positioned in the front of the house.

Stunning property in superb location

The innkeeper was friendly and the property was nicely decorated. Breakfast was your standard continental. The flooring on the side entry is in need of replacement and I wished we had the mini fridge in our room because I forgot to go down the hall to retrieve my food from the mini fridge when I departed. Rooms were very today but sheets are scratchy.

The attention to detail and the space itself.

Nothing, really. The only things I wish for, when offered snacks or breakfast, are lower sugar items.

A very pleasant place to stay. We would be happy to return.

We had a lovely 5-night stay at the Looking Glass Inn. Everything was excellent, starting with the very good value for the money, the nice and cosy room and the overall stunning property decor. The breakfast was always rich and tasty and the staff were very nice and polite.
