The Old Well Inn

Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Great location

It was in walking distance to the shops.

The bar closed at 9.30 on a friday night, decor shabby bit out dated.

Breakfast was amazing, prepared and cooked by Bethany. She does a great job- big asset to the Old Well. We love the quirky rooms. We keep coming back.

The breakfast was good & the young lady who was cooking & serving was very friendly.

I was not confident the bedding had been changed the sheets were creased up & they didn’t smell fresh it was late when we got to bed so we didn’t challenge this.

The bar was good with a good choice of real ales. The good was lovely and good value for money. The breakfast was lovely.

We stayed for three nights and the room was never serviced so no dry towels, cups cleaned, toiletries topped up, bins emptied or bed made. It was dusty, dirty carpet, tired and not at all like the pictures on the website. We stayed in one of the rooms featured in the pictures with the four post bed. The four posts have been crudely removed. Stains on the wall behind the bed and lampshade.
