I have really enjoyed the room, territory, and facilities. I would like to personally thank Ahmed (who worked in the Royal restaurant) for his help and organization of everything. Personal overall was helpful and respectful. Another thing to mention is that the territory has a lot of flowers which create an amazing and delightful smell all the time. Another thing: there is a shopping mall in walking distance (~600m) where you can find a lot of useful shops and just another ~100m and you will access a street with a lot of shops and restaurants.

* Personal tries to speak English, but when it goes beyond basic phrases you may require Google Translate from English to Arabic * The plumbing system has poor engineering. Sometimes, you have to wait for a few minutes to have hot water in your room, and sometimes, there is almost no water pressure. However, this is really minor, and you get used to it with time.

Wonderfully attentive staff especially at Royale. Brilliant waiters and chefs. Superb food and private beach and restaurant was a real bonus. Huge room beautifully kitted out.

The crew was absolutely wonderful, and the service was excellent. I would like to specifically mention Ahmed from the Royal, who was extremely kind and professional, Abdullah from the beach, Chef Nabil, and the rest of the team—they were all amazing.

The food was very bad and lacked variety. The hotel is not designed for Arab guests, as it focuses entirely on catering to foreign visitors. The TV had only two Arabic channels—an unknown news channel and a sports channel—leaving nothing worth watching. The internet was extremely slow and not available throughout the entire room. While the room was tidied daily in a good manner, the minibar was not restocked. Every time, I had to call the reception to request a refill.

The Royal Lounge is a class apart and that is what you are paying for. There is a Royal private beach area which is uncrowded and has cabanas and comfortable sun beds. The staff in the resort are very friendly and customer focussed. In the Royal Lounge Ahmed and Nabil ( chef) were unhand to take our orders for the day - including our preferences for the a la carte restaurants. Reception staff were unhand and knew us. They were happy to transport us to our room at night as it was too far for my husband to walk. Our suite had 2 balconies that overlooked the sea but had shade. The gardens are beautiful and the gardeners are dedicated. Cleaning staff are friendly and courteous.

The food in the a al carte restaurants was not always quality. Poor meals in the Italian and Indian - followed by a better meal in the Indian.

I do not advise anyone to stay in this hotel. Terrible staff except for employee Atef. The only adequate person in this hotel. Firstly, the hotel is for pensioners. They do not allow anyone to relax and rest normally. Constantly comes up this is not allowed, this is our concept. In a word, if anyone wants to ruin their vacation, then this hotel is for them.

We asked those we spoke to at this hotel to write Booking. Because most people come with a package tour and can't write their opinion. So I'm writing on behalf of many vacationers. I'll now add a photo of the worst employee of this hotel.

Lovely grounds although undergoing some renovations at the time of our stay so the upper pools and lazy river not accessible.

Because the upper pools were closed we had to use the lower pool. This has the misfortune or the entertainment team. The entertainment team seam to run this area as there own personal rave area. Very load and offensive music. (I’m sure the lyrics of some of the songs are lost on the staff as if they could understand them the management would surely not let them play them). The buffet food although well cooked and presented offered very little variety from day to day.
