"Thankfully, it lived up fully to expectations."

Very good range of choices of good food at breakfast. Location excellent to get out and about by car to sights local and further afield. Good car parking on site. Possible to walk to Paignton and back - slightly uphill walk on return journey. Excellent hosts who were always ready to go the extra mile eg assisting on getting luggage to room.

We cannot fault Amber House.

"Very nice but would book an upstairs room if I return."

Very good breakfast, good location near park and beach.

Room advertised with sea view but oily if you stood on the bed!my room named sky would have a view if some bushes were cut back!On my last morning a couple were served tea in front of my window at 7.30a.m.

Viv and the other staff are the most amazing people. Funny, kind, caring and nothing at all is too much to ask. The breakfast was incredible. Hospitality was honestly out of this world. It felt like a home away from home. Myself and my partner wishes we didn’t have to leave after coming to stay for the air show. They have a honesty bar as well downstairs which was brilliant! An incredible amount of DVDs you can take to watch in your room, books as well. We stayed in Pebble and it was the perfect room for us. I’m trying to find excuses to come back again!

"amazing"

room had everything we needed, bed was really comfy. staff were amazing. Breakfast was outstanding would definatly recommend the scrambled egg
