Waterfront Southport Hotel

Spacious clean and warm with great staff. Excellent good value breakfast deal with nice range of food. Best location in town. Our friendly dog was most welcome. Super under hotel parking with easy access and large spaces. Brilliant birthday break.

Beautiful Hotel we stayed Thursday evening,Our room was amazing me and my hubby literally had the best night's sleep as we both dont sleep great. The bed was so comfortable and amazing bonus complete black out curtains,We stayed in room 416 the view was great, Very very clean room and hotel all the staff were very friendly and helpful.Breakfast buffet was gorgeous and plenty of choice just wish the weather would of been better because we both would of loved to use there bar terrace. Another great bonus because I booked directly we got our parking free very secure and underground. Thank you all we'd love to come back and stay again xx

We love this hotel but once again the meal on the first night was truly awful. No apology either. Room wasn’t clean upon checking and took an hour and half to sort and the following day they didn’t clean the room so we had to chase them up again. Only Jean on reception cares and is always helpful. I got accused of smoking in the room. I do not smoke. I stay regularly at this hotel due to my treatment at near by hospital for heart disease. I DO NOT SMOKE, yet I got accused. Awful and I’m afraid our time there is up after going there every fortnight for three nights for the last six months while I had all my hospital treatments. Sickening to have our favourite hotel have a shocking restaurant in which temp chefs work there more than the regular chef making the food awful most nights. You can hear every table complaining.

Great hotel with superb staff. Parking was £15 for the night but it was covered and safe. The hotel was really clean and the bed was comfortable. It is such a shame it is in administration. If the town had some investment then it would return to it best days. Restaurant was limited but the fish and chips were delicious. Recommend you stay here when in Southport .

This has to be the best hotel we have ever stayed in. We had a problem on our first stay but Barbara sorted all this out for us and on our next stay she went above and beyond to make our stay such a memorable one. She is a lovely person and is certainly a credit to the waterside. Best hotel we have ever stayed in and the best customer service ever. Once again, thank you Barbara.

A good selection of Twin Double bedded and Superior rooms to suit our needs. The Staff were excellent throughout the Hotel. The Lounge area was comfortable and the Bar had a wide selection of drinks to choose from. We ate out on the evening so cannot comment on the evening menu, however the restaurant was busy. The self serve Breakfast was very good and had a wide variety of food to suit all. The only minus points were a shabby repair to our bedroom door, the bedroom window had been screwed permanently shut instead of being repaired and the door out to the outside decking area had a loose gasket which flew about each time the door was opened. Very minor points that could easily be attended to.

Far to expensive, we were going to stay longer, but they tried to rip us off by charging us over £400 00 for the same room we had just paid about £300.00 for 2 days.on top of that we had to pay £15.00 each day for parking & £10.00 each day for fridge in the room. The windows were dirty we complained twice about this.the lighting was very poor in the room.the tv channels are just basic.no breakfast included in the price.just far to expensive. We found hotels much cheaper after we cheques out ,stayed another few days in a better hotel much cheaper. DISSAPIONTED.

I carnt complain because i got a good deal on my room i just had a few issues to adress i have asmah and the bedroom window wouldnt open i told the staff at the reception they said some of the windows dont open then i noticed the water would drain down the plug hole very slow so when taking a shower u had a puddle of water at ur feet also the buffet in the room wobbled because it foot had come off prior to my stay and the only other issue was the price of drinks i got a old mount cider it cost me 7.79 almost 8 pounds i can get 4 for a 5er in Sainsbury's like i said i got a grate deal on the room but for somone paying alot for this room it wouldnt be a grate stay for them the brakefast was grate and had a good selection the hotel looked very nice and modern the staff friendly and the place was very clean the bed and pillows was very comfortable
