Waterfront Southport Hotel

Stayed in the hotel with a group of friends and cannot find anything negative to say about my whole stay. The staff went above and beyond, the food was delicious and the rooms were spotless and very comfortable. The twin rooms have two queen sized beds!!! The setting is also stunning, overlooking a picturesque lake. Highly recommend and I will definitely be back.

What a lovely hotel. Overnight stay celebrating my friends 70th. Even though the hotel was very busy with a wedding and other local events the service was fab. Great ambience, good food and a lovely twin bedroom with 2 huge beds. Highly recommended.

From the moment you walk into the hotel, the beautiful decor hits you. Our party arrived in the morning and we were made to feel very welcome. We sat in the lounge area which is very comfortable for a number of hours chatting. We ordered food (club sandwich) which was lovely and drinks from the bar. In the evening, we ate in the restaurant and again the food did not disappoint. The rooms were spacious and very clean. We were in a twin room and it was 2 double beds huch was a pleasant change. Car parking is easy with the large underground car park. Just remember to put your reg in at the front desk. A full 10/10 for our overnight stay. Would definitely return.

Had an excellent midweek Wowcher stop at the Waterfront. From start to finish the stopover was excellent. The room was clean,spacious well presented. The staff were friendly & efficient & the restaurant was very good. The only “fly in the ointment was the sad state of Lord Street,a grubby shadow of its former self. However,I would highly recommend The Waterfront Hotel itself. NB. There is a large building site directly next door to the hotel at the time of writing this review but we had no interference or noise from it.

Very good room and bathroom. Good breakfast. Only reservation was poor choice for dinner and mediocre food. Only ate one of 2 evenings due to poor choice.

I stayed for 3 nights only clean room once , asked for slip mat, had to pick up myself next day , breakfast was good evening was bad , don’t know how to cook steak , friends came over next day and had tea , and same issue … but the hotel it’s self was a good place to stay ..
