"Relaxation at Its Best: Hot Springs, Views, and Comfort"

10.0

The property is absolutely stunning from the moment you pull into the lot. The service is impeccable, check-in was quick and seamless, which we really appreciated after a long drive. There are plenty of hot springs and so much to explore right on the property, yet it’s also conveniently close to town if you want to try local restaurants. The view of Arenal is unbeatable, and the rooms are incredibly spacious. Highly recommended!

"Wonderful view; food and activities not so great"

6.0

The hotel is beautiful and the vistas cannot be beat. The staff are all lovely and super helpful. The hot springs are to die for! The rooms are very comfortable and there is complimentary laundry service. Considering the luxury element, I was surprised to find the food expensive and not that great. We noticed that the dining rooms were largely empty. The second night we opted to drive into town for dinner as there are many local options that are cheaper and better. The breakfast is not included and is just ok. The Club Rio is on site but note that each activity has an associated cost. One of the reasons for staying here was to enjoy that element and I was very surprised that there was an additional cost.

"A majestic resort surrounded by natural beauty. Relax, explore, soak it in. Unforgettable for our family of 4."

10.0

The Springs Hotel is magical place - for our family of 4 (kids 15 and 12) we soaked up the hot springs and had some adventure too! Every detail is meticulously cared for. Stepping into the grand reception, we’re met by Joseph who took his time to introduce us to all the restaurants, activities and hot springs. Our room was exquisite - it had a private hot spring with a breathtaking view of Arenal volcano. You choose whether you’d like to lounge in the hammock, rock on the chairs or linger in the hot spring. There was plenty of space for kids and adults. We had so much fun exploring dozens of hot springs on the property. The biodiversity surrounding them was monumental. For a surge of adrenaline, we sped down the water slide many times. Day two we explored club Rio. The guides showed us animals (monkeys, lizards and turkeys). Before we surged down the rapids on the tubes, we soaked up more hot springs in the green and gorgeous rainforest. Our guides were super fun as we bumped and sped down the river. A huge shout out to Tony at the Treehouse restaurant. He showed us the local sloths across the way, explained the history of the Springs, served us a lovely meal and had many helpful suggestions to enjoy the area. Our goal of this trip was to have epic experiences and the Springs is at the top.

"Our trip to the Springs was amazing. A true luxury resort"

10.0

Our trip to The Springs was truly luxurious. The views were beautiful of the volcano from any spot on the resort, all of the hot springs were warm, the resort was well maintained, and the rooms were incredibly spacious with every detail being captured. We 10/10 recommend this resort and will be coming back. The resort also has a great gym and spa which would highly recommend taking advantage of for all travelers! Also - we saw LOTS of wildlife on and off the resort which made the stay extra special. If traveling by car to the resort, be aware of the windy roads and long car ride. If you get motion sickness, make sure to prepare for that in advance as the car ride can be long, foggy, and jerky due to manual transmission.

"You will not regret it"

10.0

Jeffry Urbina, the photographer, was amazing. You could tell that he really cared for what he was doing because he smiled pretty much throughout the entire duration of taking our photos just as if he was water tubing with us! The pictures came out very clear and he even went out of his way to help me locate and download the pictures because I was having a hard time myself. I really love Costa Rica!!!

"Amazing Resort!!"

10.0

The Springs Resort and Spa is an amazing place!! Our experience starts with one of the friendliest staffs we have ever encountered. The bell hops, the Waiters and bartenders, the cleaning staff, every single one goes out of their way to make you feel welcome with friendly smiles. The rooms are large, spotless, and all offer beautiful views and sounds of tropical birds and monkeys, and the volcano. From our room, we have watched 3 varieties of toucans, white faced capuchin monkeys and so many other colorful birds, and the flora is heaven for tropical plant enthusiasts! The restaurants are very good as well! Some staff stand out... Gruiven (one of the drivers) is incredible, the supervisor Jose Carlos of Tres Palmas is a lifesaver. I would give this resort and its staff more than 5 stars if I could!
