The Springs Resort & Spa at Arenal

Had an amazing time. Group of five of us used the 2-day passes, we spent a ton of time in the hot springs, slides and pool. We also went to club Rio and went horseback riding and tubing. The sanctuary tour was great too. It was incredible and the customer service is amazing! Would highly recommend to anyone in the area, no better place to relax. The views and service were so perfect, they even helped me arrange to propose to my girlfriend with the volcano backdrop. Maikol Salas and Raquel helped put together flowers and a beautiful backdrop to make the moment special all within a few hours. Their hospitality and service were amazing. Thanks again Maikol and Raquel!

My husband and I came to the Springs Resort to celebrate our anniversary and take the honeymoon we didn’t get a chance for. From the moment we were greeted by Carlos, we knew we made the right choice! October is the Green Season but the late afternoon showers were the perfect addition to a morning full of sun and the lighter occupancy made us feel like we were top priority with the staff. Our upgraded room was perfect and so comfortable with the most incredible view of the volcano. We did not meet an unfriendly person and had the best couples massage/body wraps at the Las Hojas spa bungalow at Club Rio! That was probably the most relaxed we’ve ever been. We seriously loved everyone on the staff that helped us but we are truly grateful for the extra attention to detail that Maikol Salas provided. Whether it was picking a drink or something to eat, he went above and beyond! He made sure that my husband was safe from gluten and even came up with some amazing cocktails with our favorite liquors. If we needed any type of suggestion or information, he had it for us! We are already looking at our next trip back with family,

The Springs Resort was TOP TIER! My wife and I came to Costa Rica for our Honeymoon & The Springs was our first stop... IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! From the amazing staff to the incredible views, we were totally blown away. When we first arrived we were given a tour of the grounds by Carlos who was amazing! We even got upgraded to a better room since it was our honeymoon/anniversary! We enjoyed a couples spa package deep in the jungle & relaxed in the hot springs... Just what we needed! Again, the entire staff was amazing, but our bartender Maikol Salas really helped to Elevate our experience. Not only did he make us the best drinks, but also gave us great advice on what activities to try & even helped us line up transportation to our next resort!!! THIS GUY NEEDS A RAISE! Overall we had the absolute BEST time at the Springs Resort & will definitely be back!

I recently stayed at this resort, and it was an incredible and great experience. The thermal volcanic waters were relaxing, and superb for unwinding. You can feel the stress just leave your body after just a few minutes. they got over 28 of them but only a few that reach 104 F. The service was wayyyyy above and beyond from the front gate to the folks that do you’re rooms which i never saw but we would take a dip in the thermal water take a shower leave to eat and came back and had brand new towels and the rooms done yet again. The rooms were spotless breathtaking views of the Arenal Volcano right in front of our balcony. The whole place felt peaceful and relaxed used the gym everyday and it was great they had this pineapple with ginger tea at the spa and it’s a must try please do so. The room we got was The Vista Grande Double Queen which was more then enough huge comfortable beds plenty of space huge balcony plus tremendous bathroom.

Extremely high quality property with amazing staff. Laundry was also free. Springs were great!

The spa was amazing

This resort is immaculate. The views were amazing. The hot springs were top tier. As a solo traveler, I felt safe, even with booking my tours on and off the resort. Although the restaurants/ food options were limited, it was still good. Only downside is the food is not all inclusive, which would’ve been a plus. Otherwise, I highly recommend.

The food at the restarurants, they have to change the menús and try to find a good chefs and coockers.

My husband and I decided to go back after celebrating our honeymoon in 2018 and it was as memorable as it was the first time. The amenities, including our private hot springs jacuzzi in the Honeymoon Suite, was the perfect way to end the evenings in the rain forest. Thank you to all the staff we interacted with during our stay - Carolina, Randall, Jason, Gustavo, Danilo and all the staff in the restaurants and on the location! One of the highlights of our stay was the service provided by Maikol Salas - he was attentive and gave us personalized recommendations. His attention to detail and knowledge of the area were super helpful. We love this resort and can’t wait to return. Gracias Maikol y The Springs. Hasta la Proxima…PURA VIDA!
