Oakwood Residence Hangzhou

My room was spacious and well-appointed. I liked having a small kitchen and washer-dryer. Cabs were readily available as was the requisite Starbucks. Sunrises were magnificent! Indoor lighting was not quite as easy to use nor as bright as I like. I would definitely stay again.

This hotel is highly recommended. It makes you feel just like home. It offers everything you need. I can say more than you need. Getting out to eat is not a problem at all. In fact Starbucks is just right at doorstep. Fantastic!

Service hotel, very comfortable! But the location is NOT ideal for visitors for short stays, nothing around the area within short walking distances.

Overall, the hotel is up to five stars. the bad thing is there is construction site next to hotel and caused noisy very early in the morning. and this hotel is a bit far from West Lake. it depended on where you need to go. but the surrounding area is a good business area.

We stayed at Oakwood in Hangzhou for over three weeks - staff was extremely helpful and kind to us - western restaurant in hotel more than satisfied our need for western food every now and then - facility is clean and very well kept.

Great hotel at a convenient location, room was clean, lots of varieties on TV channels, great restaurant food. One bad thing is that there is no wifi in suite..but I was told you can bring a router and they will install it in your room for you.

Room is large and beutifull , place is very good and staff ( besides the fact that everything is complicated on check in/ out in China ) is just perfect. I had to buy some computer parts near by and they have sent o guy to show me where. I had to buy a phone card and another one went with me , and he did the activation. To buy cigarettes they also sent another one to take me in front the store. Manager, Janus, is from Poland , very helpful and with a great english. Food was great !

If I could give this place a 10 out of 5 I would. The Oakwood is amazing. I booked the cheapest room option on Hotels.com which was the equivalent of a suite in the USA. Huge room. Service was A+++. Kitchen in the room was especially useful. The hotel is part of a brand new commercial development, so the surrounding area is top-notch. I can't say enough about this place, truly amazing. I would never stay anywhere else in Hangzhou.

Almost perfect from every perspective! Any one staying for an extended period in Hangzhou should consider staying at the Oakwood. Attentive staff with a can do attitude. Not a lot of English spoken, but we managed to make ourselves understood. Relatively close to the West Lake tourist area (10-15 minutes away by bus)

Great hotel.. Stayed in a double bedroom huge in size... Like an apartment. Good gym.. Close to a lot of things...
