Oakwood Residence Hangzhou

Best place for an extended stay. Our family needed a place with extra space and the Oakwood was the perfect choice.

Luxury rooms and facilities which is suitable for families. our two boys enjoy to have their private room.

1. The location of the hotel is good, it is near by west lake. 2. Staffs were kind and helped me carry my 4 packages to my room. 3. The room was very clean and comfortable. The room was just like apartment for the single. There was a nice kitchen in the room and I bought some foods for cooking. 4. The price is fair for this room.

when I was arrived, there was not available single room which I reserved, so they made upgrade immediately. room was quite a big and clean. the room had almost everything and water, one can of coke, one can of beer was served for free. location was not center of hangzou but it was enough to close to western of hangzou. you can drop by Mr.box though.

Hotel is quite old and very dusty You do not want to walk on the carpet bare feet

Hotel and services met our expectation and more. However, the trip to and from town take the fun out of travelling in China. Taxi drivers seem not to honour their profession and constantly refusing to take us back to the hotels. It is a problem need to be fixed if China like to see foreign visitors spending money in their country. Of course this has nothing to do with the hotel other than its location. So if you can manage transport than this place is highly recommended. But if you need to hail a cab to get around then staying here is a pain getting away and back to

The hotel is not close to the west lake but it is a very clean and secure. You need to have room key to take the elevator to your floor. People were friendly there I was upgraded to a one-bed room from studio and the rooms are huge. I think it also came with all the things needed to stay for a longer term. It has dishwasher, rice cooker, plates and utensils coffee makers etc. The only thing missing I think was a bath tub which I do not really miss. Overall great experience. BTW, it is about 15 minutes cab ride to the west lake. Plenty of buses near by and there is a starbucks right around the corner.

Super comfortable, extremely large rooms, bathroom super duper nice. Sofas a bit shallow / hard, all other furniture very comfortable. Fully-equipped kitchens, with a grocery store on the second floor, it's as close as you get to a home away from home. Gym very nice, haven't tried the pool. Decent coffee (available for takeout) and nice breakfast food (I'm difficult). Food (either restaurant or room service) is not great, pretty expensive and not super tasty.

Staff very professional and courteous. Poor business center experience but we were adequately compensated and the staff were very professional.

I enjoyed it and will definitely go back
