Excellent location in the Beacons; nice house and gardens with plenty of parking. Pleasant, well-appointed room.

We had an unfortunate experience in the height of a heatwave in that the shower in our room didn't work properly so was boiling hot. After some discussion and thanks to one of the staff, Jackie, we were offered another, larger room. However, that shower also ran very hot so we resorted to using the bath taps instead. It would be nice to have somebody to 'meet and greet 'on arrival rather than keys and a note, especially if (as we had) there's a problem.

arrived at b&b temp 34 deg outside and walked into the hall to the room The temp dropped to about 16 deg the room was the same no fans or air con in the room it was cool all night managed to sleep all night. Breakfast was excellant choice of cooked breakfast full English or or as you require it cereal or toast coffee tea fruit juice yogurt

the bed was a bit hard & the sheets were tightly tucked in so you could not move but got round it the shower was to hot but the owner was getting the plumber in to fix

Perfect location for the Fan Dance

A great little b&b. Lovely and quiet and peaceful. Close to some great walking and to eateries in Merthyr, 10 mins in the car either way for both. Lovely friendly staff and a great breakfast to start the day. Highly recommend it.
