Beautiful old traditional pub, in a picturesque village

Sadly it is closed on a Monday, so no delicious evening meal, but everything was made very simple, and Nico left his phone number on the welcome sheet for any queries. He came at my chosen time and cooked the most delicious breakfast, and then kindly lit the fire and allowed me to work from there until I needed to leave.

Breakfast and evening meals were outstanding very highly recommend, restaurant quality food in a friendly and comfortable setting. Staff and locals very friendly.

Room doors stuck a little and bathroom floor tiles were broken and moving. But the usual issues that you get with an old building, nothing to ruin the overall operation of the stay. Top mars all round.
