Hotel Luisiana

The property is good for the purpose we use it for. Coming to the City from Guanacaste for various reasons for short stays.

This is advertised as a 4 star hotel this is more like a 2 star hotel. Everything needs upgrading as it is in a poor state. I complained to Hotels.com but they couldn't help. The room did look similar to the one on the site BUT The mattress was LUMPY and very uncomfortable!

The staff is great. We amstay regularly, they ket my folks stay in the room with us till a late flight and made their last day here comfortable.

La cama súper dura, el baño la ducha no funcionaba y en la mitad de la noche había muchísimo ruido de arriba.

Staff was friendly. Facilities were very outdated and not well maintained. Price was affordable. We stayed here because nothing else in the area was available on a short notice.

It is a nice and safe place to stay

It was a very friendly establishment. The staff was very helpful. The area was very close to the markets,restaurants.

This was a pleasant place to stay. I was here for one evening and found it to be all I expected. The breakfast was good and hearty and staff were very sweet and patient with poor Spanish. There is a supermarket down hill and neighborhood feels safe quiet. Recommend.

The room was filthy. Mold in the shower and shower curtains. Moulding around the doors was full of grime. Also the room (and other rooms in the vicinity as our friends were across from us) was located near the A/C system for the building, so although we had the A/C off during the night there was continuous noise w units turning on and off with loud metallic banging. When we asked to change rooms they claimed they had nothing to offer….

I love this spot. They take care of us everytime we are in the city. The staff is great and always helpful.
