"Excellent"

Lovely hotel with rustic, antique decor and furniture. May not suit all tastes but we loved it! There was no toiletries provided - not a big problem - but if we'd known we'd have brought some with us.

"Terrible Experience not as reviewed!"

2.0

This guest house / hotel is MILES off the autostrada. We booked this hotel based on the reviews and all I can say is the prior reviews must have been written by people who are friends of the owners! This was by far the worst hotel experience I had on a nearly month long trip through five countries. It was VERY OVER PRICED for what you get. First, the breakfast was low budget with cereal, bread, yogurt and the like. No eggs or anything hot whatsoever. The coffee was awful and all premade in a large container. No cappuccino here! We had to search for the breakfast room as the reception person spoke no English and failed to tell us where the breakfast would be. There’s no elevator so we carried our bags up two flights of stairs. The rooms were not charming just cheaply constructed. This was NOT some winehouse, farmhouse experience but rather a way overpriced disappointment. For less money we stayed in a Best Western with a full gourmet breakfast and exercise room! Look elsewhere is my suggestion.

"Back in time"

6.0

Beautiful Italian vineyard villa. LOVED IT! Gated piece of Old Italy. If you are going for comfort, look elsewhere. However, if you are going for an amazing experience, I would highly recomend. Delicious food with perfect atmosphere. Overall, the best experience on our 9 day Italian trip.

"Villa Bertagnolli Guest House"

10.0

this is an authentic Italian residence on a working vineyard, with an authentic Italian and beautiful old mansion. The family are very courteous and speak perfect English, among other languages. The staff are very courteous and friendly. Franco is a perfect gentleman and will go far out of his way to please the guests, the food in the restaurant was delicious. the service was exemplary. We hope to return here next year abut for a longer stay, very relaxing, wonderful area of Tirol. lots to see and enjoy. i would personally give it a rating of 10 out of 10 !!

"Traditonal, authentic and friendly north Italian Hotel, well worth the trip"

10.0

We had 2 elderly people in our party and were given beautiful rooms with easy access and great views from the balcony. Franco and the staff went out of their way to make our stay with them comfortable and enjoyable. The traditional food and wine were excellent. If you are looking for a modern, English type hotel this is not for you. Car hire is a must to be able to get about and explore the Dolomites, the scenery is breath taking. We certainly plan to make a return visit.

"A wonderful experience"

10.0

From the location to the food, everything was delightful about this small hotel. An absolutely beautiful set of Baroque buildings amidst vineyards and mountains, a superb restaurant, and staff that could not have been nicer and friendlier, the hotel is certainly one to which we will return.

"Beautiful but delapidated"

2.0

The building itself looks like a beautiful but delapidated old castle. The room did not have AC and was stiffling hot. We arrived late at night and the hotel was closed! We banged on every single door until someone let us in (after half an hour).

"Secret Getaway"

10.0

Traveling through Europe with children seems to be harder than traveling with pets...not all places will take your kids, but most will take your dog.Having a family of 4 makes things a little more challenging, but this B&B was perfect for us!Tucked away in the Italian Alps, this rustic villa is the perfect place for passing through town.We spent one night there and the view was incredible!(Not from our window, but from the grounds of the B&B.We had a family room, the Daniella. It had a large bedroom with a Queen size bed and then steps up to the loft where the children slept. There were two twin mattresses up there and my girls loved it.It was like there private little nook. The stairs were very steep, but for kids it was perfect. If you have toddlers this would not be a good room, but for 7 and up it is very appropriate. It is on the outskirts of Trento so to get to a restaurant it is a few miles, but worth it for the experience of staying at a real working winery.I would stay again, especially for the price! (Breakfast was very light but is expected for European standards)
