Room incredibly small as well at bathroom. Breakfast was ok....

Staff was so nice but pool was cool and snack bar closed. Close to beach. Nice restaurant.

Decent island hotel with good value and most standard comforts. Good location and view from the terrace. Comfortable although if you are located by the pool, you access your room through stairs going outside. Nice breakfast and international guests.

Great family owned hotel. Views of the castle from the rooftop sunning area were great. Your right in between the port and ponte area by the castle. Breakfast was delicious. Overall, we would return again.

The staff made us feel so welcome and did everything to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The position of the hotel was ideal for exploring Ponte and Porto. The decor of our room was of high quality. We used both pools extensively- the small one was 30 degrees which was great for aching limbs! From the hotel we visited out to the Castle just over the causeway and well worth the visit. Also the walk along the seafront to Porto was most enjoyable. We bought tickets for a round the island boat trip which we highly recommend. Another high spot was a minibus trip to Sir William Walton’s gardens above Forio where we spent three hours. Once again, highly recommended. Turning right out of the hotel and right again at the bottom of the small road, the walkway along by the sea is well worthwhile and you can choose any of the bagno - bathing areas - and we settled on Bagno Antonietta which has no rocks and a particularly good beach restaurant with a very friendly and welcoming staff. For a change, try the brilliant red coloured pizzarea next door - they don’t have a beach but the food is excellent. In closing, we compliment not only the Hotel Ulysses for such a wonderful holiday (which we badly needed!) but also Expedia for arranging such an intricate travel schedule using a minibus - the driver got our tickets for the hydrofoil which was a great relief and was incredibly cheerful. The journey to and from Ischia was smooth and highly efficiently executed!

Nice hotel, good location, walking distance to the Main Street with its shops and restaurants also the harbour and castle a little further away. Staff were very helpful and friendly and would take time to recommend places to visit..

The most relaxing hotel with very friendly staff, lovely views from balcony, lovely swimming pool with excellent poolside service. The sea is only 2 mins walk away and the (public) beach very clean. A wonderful hotel - we will definitely return.

Family owned and operated for generations. Centrally located. Pleasant, clean, simple.

I was pleasantly surprised that the hotel was for such a low price but offered great quality. It was simple and just what we needed for the night's stay.
