Looking a tad tired
GBThe design of the building. The well maintained grounds. Very traditional British/Classic architecture. Despite being installed sometime ago the efforts to maintain the newness of the classic layout are very impressive. The interior is very classic. Columns mirrored columns. Carpets are classic and clean. The safe in the room is perfectct. The swimming pool is excellent. The bar and dinning area are very grandeur. The red reception is fresh and modern.
I over heard 2 male guests being welcomed to the hotel. They were told what time breakfast was. The times of the pool opening. The expected time and day of check out. When I checked in the receptionist nearly muttered name? 3 nights stay? And gave me the key. Fire escape needs. He should be consistent and give all guests the same detailed welcome. If you are 2 Malay business guests or a young single working class female. The parents congregated around the bottom of the staircase to the pool. There is not enough room for 5 sets of parents. It blocks a very narrow escape route. The cleaning materials are also in the way. So it’s very very congested. And overwhelming if you are wearing your swim suite and towel and come out to group of waiting parents. The change over time should allow and 20 minute change over for those coming and going out in such a small area.
