Enjoyed this hotel very much. Beautiful facility with very nice, well-apppointed rooms. Great bathroom which was very roomy, including a large shower with ample water pressure. Loved the panoramic view of the Yangtze River, and found the river traffic fascinating. Worth paying a little extra for a room with a river view. Overall, a wonderful hotel! The two areas of improvement are first, the concierge staff could be more knowledgeable about the city, i.e., a guest who requested the names of shops with high-end Chinese glass and pottery was sent to bargain-priced shops selling clothes. The other area of improvement seems to be problem everywhere in Wuhan: the lack of taxis willing to take you where you want to go. A hotel of this caliber should have taxis prepared to take their guests to major tourist sights.

Relaxed in room all day prior to return to home country

Stayed here only one night, but wish we had stayed longer. The room was large enough for a rollaway bed to fit comfortably with the twin beds already present so our family of 4 could stay in one room (elsewhere we have had to book 2 rooms). Loved the HUGE selection at the breakfast buffet, and also that they do not charge kids the same as adults for the buffet. The park across the street along the river is beautiful. One thing to note: if you want to exchange money at the front desk, bring pristine USD. They won't take any bills with tears, ink stains, or excessive creasing.

Overall is good but cannot adjust the room temperature

Just an overall awesome hotel in a great location near the center of Wuhan.

Clean. Good water pressure and warm water in quick time! Would return.

It was brief but lovely. Staff was friendly. The room was fantastic.

Mostly everything was fine with friendly staff and good service with exception of;when I would have liked to have had a map of the surrounding of the area surrounding the hotel. I went for a walk and got lost . 2. I dialed 6 for room service for food and first person on the phone could not understand English I wanted an BLT sandwich and I had an uncomfortable time requesting someone who could understand my order. Everyother thing fine and great location.

We visited our son who lives in Wuhan and his co-workers recommended Marco Polo. We had a great stay and the breakfasts are legendary! Great hotel, staff and location.
