Overall satisfied. Helpful staff. Courteous and smiling. Restaurant staff particularly friendly and helpful. Free airport drop and pickup is wonderful. Clean cars with water and polite chauffeurs. The Television is crystal clear with more than a 100+ free channels. (Generally all hotels have hazy reception, but this is close to HD). Internet speed is decent on wifi. Get the 24 hour plan and it is worth it. Renovation is going on in the Hotel. Make sure you get a renovated room. They are modern and beds are fantastic. IF you plan to be in the room in the day, insist on a room far from noise. At least 1 floor up or down.

"Hotel under renovation"

They checked me in the 7th floor where construction work was going on. It was a pain to live amidst noise of hammers and full floor covered in dust. I had to make several phone calls before someone started acting on it. They offered me another rooom on 2nd floor, which I denied due to quality of room. Luckily, the hammering noise stopped and managed to stay in the same room. The service otherwise is good, food is good. Service is good in both room service and the restaurant. Quality of bed,linen is good. Check in time was high, but check out was smooth. They should have asked before dumping a customer on the floor under renovation. Overall an average experience.

"Good hotel with not so great service"

I am from us. I stayed at surya palace last week and the place was great. Only thing I did not like was the service and maintenance. I asked them to refill a few times and they did not do that. Money was not an issue here. I also got bit by something. All in all, good hotel but make sure that you get what you paid for.
