The outdoor jacuzzi

We asked for a vegetarian dinner. The answer: we are a non vegetarian restaurant. We ate somewhere else.

Location , outside areas, all food and staff.

Unfortunately we had poor weather and apart from bedrooms there was almost no inside sitting area. This hotel has fabulous gardens and lounging areas but very little for guests indoors when the weather is poor.

Reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Absolutely loved the outdoor jacuzzi which had a fantastic panoramic view, and the indoor swimming pool. It was too cold to use the outdoor one. We had two excellent dinners, expensive but fabulous food and friendly staff who made a real effort to make sure we were comfortable. Room was a good size, huge bed and good size bathroom.

I had a bright light outside which changed colour and kept me awake at night as the blinds were not wide enough to shut it out. Really annoying. Breakfast wasnt great for the money. We arrived at 9am and some of the fresh items had gone. When I asked if they could be replaced the restaurant manager tapped his watch as if to say we were late, although I think they stopped serving at 10am. We didnt bother again.

Everything was perfect: very light and clean bathroom , amazing food in the restaurant.

Only one small change to make - please put rubber rugs in the bathroom as otherwise it is very slippery and I hurt my toe.
