"Horrible"

This place is horrible, nasty, horrific and not safe to stay at. I would never leave a bad review for anything normally but this place has made me. The managements treatment is threatening and agressive, stay safe and steer clear of this dump.

"A hidden gem, in the middle of it all!"

This place seems to good to be true, but it is actually incredible. We learned on our trip that Capri is an island of traditions which makes newer places like this hard to gain demand compared to the older establishments. The staff were all very friendly, but I'd like to give a special shout out to Luca who made us feel like family. He went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of and had the perfect honeymoon vacation.

Great boutique hotel with a nice bar and great night club and great dj. I had a room with a view of the gulf and the the vesuvio. staff remembers immediately your name and room number! ignore the negative reviews. you have always consider its capri and rooms always small and not cheap!

Wow! Gorgeous old style property in immaculate condition in the heart of Capri village overlooking the sea! Room was classicly decorated and very comfortable, facilities impeccable and the staff, particularly Frederica who was so patient with all of my requests, was absolutely top notch and warm. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely return again and again!

"Crappy Hotel in Capri"

Advertised as 5 Star Delivered 2 Star. No TV, refrig, minibar, coffee in room. Stained carpets and lumpy mattress. Mgmt was uncooperative in refunding our prepaid money and we still left with 2 nights remains on our reservation. Very limited breakfast option when advertising breakfast included. Decor was tacky too. Having said this the views are excellent.

"Total disappointment in IL Capri hotel."

Location near city center and good view.

No TV, refrigerator, mini-bar or coffee in room. Worn/ badly stained carpet. Staff tried to put us in a room with metal stairs leading to loft bedroom. No two pieces of furniture matched. They moved us to a smaller room without stairs but would not reduce the rate. We prepaid for 4 nights but only stayed 2 nights. Not 1cent of refund! Looks like business is bad at this hotel. Breakfast is included but from a limited menu. As much as we like Capri we would never recommend IL Capri Hotel.
