Grand Hôtel de Courtoisville

Very nice hotel. Receptionist was very friendly and enthusiastic on arrival, lovely setting, didn't get to try the restaurant but bar service was very good. Room was very comfortable, individually adjustable beds were a nice surprise! Bit of a walk from the old town, but very well placed for the beach.

Room on ground floor no air con and was not happy to open window as too close to tree

Hotel staff very friendly. Hotel 5 mins from the sea, 15/20min walk from the heart of the old town. Parking for car (we had one) free but limited. Initially we had no hot drinking facilities in the room, however on the last day a coffee maker appeared. Used the restaurant however food a bit hit and miss, some excellent courses, with others not so good! Overall you would struggle to get better for the price.

The Hotel was lovely, the pool was great (my little boy who loves to swim would have spent most of his time in there given the chance, especially with the amazing jets!!) Food was great and they catered for children too. The staff were brilliant & really helpful. Would definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone who is looking to stay in St Malo

We enjoyed our 1 night stay which was too short - we'll definitely be back. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming despite our late arrival and the rom was extremely comfortable. Top marks all round.

Nice hotel with very good dining and friendly staff.

Service and staff was attentive and helpful. Very disappointed with the room and bathroom which was very basic and dated. Nice and clean swimming pool a big plus.

We were given a very comfortable double room on second floor with view to front of hotel. Did not take breakfast as price seemed very high at 14 euro each. Took advantage of boulangerie at end of road instead. No adverse comments whatsoever other than that. Had one lunch and one dinner in restaurant and food excellent on each occasion. All hotel staff very helpful. On site car parking limited but would not advise using car if going into St. Malo as bus service good and can be walked (about half hour).

A hotel in the grand European tradition; worth the trip.

Friendly, helpful staff. Good location close to beach. Great facilities (we used the pool and it was lovely and warm). Nice quality continental breakfast (fab coffee). Rooms are basic but clean and functional. Really good choice.
