Ahoskie Inn

We waited an 1 hour 45 minutes for someone to check us. When the guy did come to check us in he was very rude went on about him not being on duty and just because he lives there doesn’t mean that he should have to come to check us in. Which as a customer that was none of my business nor concern. Very unprofessional and bad customer service. Hallways smell bad and the room were very moist to the point that the carpet was dam. I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone most definitely bad service if I could rate 0 ⭐️ that’s what they would get. Some of our family members that also stayed there had roaches in their rooms.

This place is disgusting it should not be listed on any vacation website or be in the mix of place to stay. I’m pretty sure I will sleep in my car tonight instead of laying my head on that bed. Worse place I have ever seen.

Room and hallway carpets had large paint spill spots. Toilet didn’t flush and no maintenance available. Asked front desk if they had a plunger so I could do it myself and though he did look extensively, there was no plunger. Had to use common space bathroom. Continental breakfast not available, though advertised. General smell everywhere was paint and urine. Front desk staff called me to the front desk to tell me they didn’t receive payment from Expedia. Said I had to call Expedia to resolve annd they could not call Expedia directly. Sounded very suspect to the point I though I was about to get scammed. Against my better judgement, spent 30 minutes resolving the payment from Expedia to the hotel. My payment to Expedia cleared a month before when I booked. Was not happy to have to resolve a business to business payment which was clearly not my issue to resolve.

There was nothing good about this place and they still have yet to give me my money back for the days I didn't stay due to the rats and roaches in the rooms, moved us to another room and the smell of chemicals was so bad got sick my oldest refused to stay in that room even one night and slept in our car... This place needs to be SHUT DOWN and maybe after a few years rebuild and start again but as of right now ain't no way I'll ever go back but thank God for the tomahawk motel for having a room and it was older but so clean and fresh and rat and roach free... I need my $ 118. Back ASAP

This place is a diamond in the ruff! Chris the General manager was as kind as could be. The staff was super friendly & helpful.They are giving this Hotel a Major Facelift inside AND out. It’s looking great and it’s going to be Fabulous! There are lots of Great restaurants just 8 mins away. There’s a Walmart and grocery and plenty of fast food joints as well .

The new general manager is doing so well on improving this hotel. Several renovations from painting the outside and inside new carpet going in and also new furniture. Will definitely be staying here again when I travel through North Carolina

Very very vad experience

The hotel has been taking over by a new General Manager and the hotel has become a much safer and nice place the only thing is you must follow the rules of the New Management or they will kick you out . Great experience and will be returning and great staff

The staff members were very friendly!! The hotel is in terrible shape. Lights flashing down hallway. Carpet is dirty. Paint every where. Just not fit to staying here.

Had very bad service i kicked out the room after it said i had guest after 10pm but no one came into the hotel a family member brought food and i ran out side for 15 sec.. just to return to my room and being kicked out 10 minutes later. They kept my $110 and would give me a refund. I am travel agent and am not happy with what has happened to me.
