Badian Island Wellness Resort

Wonderful beach, pools and mountain view.

Hard bed and pillows. Comforters must be requested first. Breakfast lacks fruits. Food options minimal and expensive.

The nature, the thalasso pools and the beach were fantastic. Few guests in the resort so the place was so peaceful. The pool in the pool villa was great, good privacy. So spacious rooms. Quiet and beautiful resort.

The pillows were too thick and hard. Comforters only upon request, and got a thick blanket instead. Bed quite firm. Extra charge for bed stains and information about this should have been disclosed upon check-in. No fruits served during breakfast, dinner options are pricey, and food portions quite small for the price. Faucets were loose and needed fixing. The common pool waterfall roof is old and needs an upgrade.

resort was not friendly for guests with mobility problems. It would have been very helpful if they have a golf cart or at least wheelchair, and portions of the roads that can accommodate wheelchairs. No ramps.

This is a wonderful resort for wellness & relaxation. The people are friendly and accommodating. We stayed in 2 junior suites and these were almost perfect rooms except for the air conditioning, which wasn't cool enough. We had 2 warm nights. So sorry that this dampened our wonderful stay experience. Architecture and design of the rooms were very well thought of. The spa, massage experiences were one of the best I've known. Masseurs were very skilled! Thalasso falls was great, too.... we believe it should be open for all guests at no extra charge because it is the highlight of the resort and what makes it unique from the other resorts.

From the name itself, wellness. It really embodied its meaning. The resort is very peaceful, perfect for everyone who is looking for place to unwind and escape the hustle of the city. They have picturesque view that is a food to the eyes because of its beauty and charm. The staff were very accommodating and the service was very good. The food also is very delicious. The first time I went to the resort I was amazed, you have to ride a speed boat before going to the resort, its one thing I love, the island vibes of the resort. It also has white sand beach which is perfect for aesthetic pictures. They also have theme dinner and dances which you could dance in the end of the performance, I think that's the main highlight of my stay, I had so much fun the entire stay! It was superb!

This resort is a hidden gem in Cebu! The serene setting, warm hospitality, and stunning ocean views made my stay unforgettable. My villa was luxurious and peaceful, and the spa treatments, especially the Badian Hilot massage were truly relaxing. I loved the healthy, flavorful meals and activities like yoga and cooking demos. It’s also conveniently located near popular attractions like the Sardine Run, Kawasan Falls, and Oslob Whale Shark watching. A perfect place to unwind, recharge, and experience true island bliss. Highly recommended!

In addition, the room we had in was very big and spacious. There was a dance show last Saturday evening by the pool. They encouraged guests to dance Tinikling and other dances with them. We communicated with their FO through Viber. If you have WhatsApp, that is ok too. The teenagers did the water activities e.g. kayaking etc. and swam in the sea. We had the best weekend ever. Their management and staff are the best when you are there. Food was great too. Everything was clean.

Resort was quiet and peaceful. Staff were very warm, smiling, friendly and helpful. From the parking security to the resort. We took a small yacht / motor boat about 5-10 minutes to Badian Island. Was welcomed with nice smelling flower leis around our necks, refreshing drinks in a coconut hand-made shell and aromatic smell of a cold hand towels upon arrival at the resort. Food was great. We had happy hour at the bar every late afternoon (4:30-6PM) with full filling pizzas. Amenities were complete: shampoo, shower gel, lotion, bottles of water, rubber slippers, hair dryer, towels (both bath and pool), hand towels, fans for back-ups when it is so hot, safety deposit box, hangers, batik robes. We love our villa pool (with sea water), as well as the Thalasso Waterfalls & Pool, overlooking the blue sea. Open restaurant was relaxing. We had great breakfast (plated). On Sundays, they put in buffet of vegetables, fruits, pancakes, oatmeals, cereals, cupcakes, etc., other than your plated breakfast. We were spoiled in a beautiful island. Sunset is awesome with instagramable photos. Staying at Badian Island Resort was very well worth it!

Disappointing stay. The hospitality of the staff is the only redeeming quality of this resort. The masage was fine. Rest was disappointing - expensive, nothing to write home about food, poorly maintained rooms and amenities. Had to check out early and get a refund for the third night which the resort graciously provided. Resort has potential but needs a thorough review of their policies - renovate and modernize the rooms, use of bottled refillable water bottles and a revamp of the restaurant menu and offerings. Sent an email to the Manager who responded to these concerns so hopefully things have improved since then.
