Great location; room is small but well equipped; hotel was under renovation while we were there

Très bon séjour a l'hôtel Republik. Nous avons apprecié la situation à 2 pas de la place Bellecour et de l'hôtel Dieu. Nous avons aussi pu bénéficier des conseils pour les restaurants et de la gentillesse de l'hôtesse. Nous y retournerons sans problème.

Staff at the hotel were so wonderful! The room was very clean and comfortable. Excellent location too!

With hopes that my experience was just a fluke, I have to say the only thing this hotel has going is that it is well located. Between the metro and walking, I was able to see most of Lyon during my short stay. However, the hotel itself was very disappointing. There’s no soundproofing, and my room temperature was steadily at 25 degrees Celsius (even after opening the windows, playing around with the thermostat, and taking in the kind receptionists advice). I barely slept the few nights I was there and was happy to check out when the time came.

Hôtel rénové et très bien situé en plein cœur de Lyon. Ma chambre avec lit simple était très bien et confortable. Le personnel est très agréable et professionnel. je recommande de ce lieu.

Absolutely great service from Constance at the front desk. She managed to get us rooms earlier for which we were very grateful after a long flight. Dining area for breakfast is quite small and a bit cramped, but understandable considering age and location of the hotel.

Die Zimmer zur Straße sind klein, aber nett (X01 bis X03). Dagegen sind die Zimmer mit Blick in den Innenhof (Wand) ohne Tageslicht und deprimierend.

Great staff, we had a very pleasant stay!
