Emmet Hotel

Everything, it was a lovely place to stay, it was close to the wedding we were attending and it was lovely as the room was clean, we had a lovely view of the square and the staff were super helpful. We ate at the restaurant the night before and the food was lovely as well.

One thing we spotted that we didn't like was how the younger staff were spoken to. Could have been more professional (we never got names but there was an older gentleman that put Coal into the stove and there was an interaction between himself and staff where it wasn't professional and created an awkward atmosphere in the restaurant - outside of this the hotel was amazing at everything else, we just thought it was important to mention this as it did affect the atmosphere for dinner.

We had a fabulous time at the Emmet Hotel in Clonakilty. I booked directly with the hotel having spoken to Rebecca at reception. It was so straightforward and very flexible as we made a few changes - but Rebecca was so helpful and managed all our expectations. The breakfast was lovely and again, staff in the restaurant were so very welcoming. Towels changed daily - which was very welcomed. I would definitely recommend staying at this lovely boutique hotel and look forward to returning.

I have visited Clonakilty previously..but first visit for my wife. The Emmet Hotel is perfectly situated in the centre with everything walkable. The hotel itself was superb..clean, staff welcoming and hosts Rob and Rebecca brilliant hosts. The room was perfect in size with all amenities including coffee machine. Decor was very much in keeping with age of the property but with a modern twist. Very clean. All staff were excellent and welcoming and were attentive to make sure our stay was good. We ate in the hotel on our first night. The food was excellent.. the crab starter was superb. Likewise breakfast. I would thoroughly recommend The Emmet as a base to stay. You will be looked after. Thank you - we will be returning.
