Emmet Hotel

If you're heading to Clonakilty, there's no better place to stay. Location, rooms, service. Everything spot on. We had a lovely room. Comfortable, beautifully decorated, Nespresso machine. Not sure they have any ground floor rooms. They don't have an elevator.

We are a group of ladies of a certain age that go away for a few days every year! The Emmet Hotel was our choice this year and boy were we happy girlies!!! A wonderful warm reception on arrival with Sinead and that set the tone for our visit! Lovely rooms and great staff. Breakfast was cooked fresh on order which is a big bonus. We weren’t that impressed with our evening meal think it’s an area worth looking at!! But we would definitely recommend this hotel for its style and warmth and of course it’s situation bang in the centre of Clonakilty.

I was one of a group of 5 friends who stayed in the Emmett Hotel from Thursday for two nights until earlier today. I cannot praise this hotel enough. Our experience was wonderful. The decor was so inspiring. Great wallpapers and the decor was perfect. The beds and pillows were heavenly. The rooms were so comfortable and spotlessly clean. The staff were superb. I didn’t get all of their names but Sinead and Timmy were great. They were so caring and kind. Rob and Rebecca were wonderful hosts and couldn’t do enough for us. I cannot praise this hotel enough. The location was right in the middle of everything so we could walk around the shops restaurants and bars. The hotel was very good value. All 5 of us plan to return again before two long. We had a great weekend staying at the Emmet Hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the food was good.

This jem of a family run hotel won't disappoint. Its comfortable cosy and friendly and so nicely decorated. Brilliant bed and so quiet for the perfect sleep. Location is just perfect and it's a stroll to everything. It has such a nice bunch of staff including the bar staff where you can enjoy gorgeous food all day along with a great pint 😀. And breakfast is freshly cooked and soooooo good.. Don't miss out!!!
