We would definitely stay here again! This was the first time we stayed at WorldMark, and it was just for a few days, since it was on the way to another destination we were heading to. After seeing the property, and all it had to offer, we would definitely stay here for vacation! After reading some of the reviews, we had our reservations about staying here, because we didn't want to hear any sales pitches while trying to check in. Surprisingly, our check- in was great! No pushy sales pitch! Everyone was professional and polite.

The property was clean and spacious. We really liked that there was 2.5 baths. The train is noisy.

The condo was great! Very spacious to fit 2 families in. We did not utilize the pool area or any other amentities. But we will definitley return! The location was perfect! Just a short drive to the river spot we picked, and around the corner from downtown Gruene.

The push to buy a timeshare, it was storming out and like 9pm with 3 kids, we were ready to just get into the room and unpack and settled in. We had a jam packed weekend planned. I had to sit through a schpeel of things to do in the area even though I had told them I had been to the area many times. They pushed to come in the next morning to sit through the timeshare meeting, even when I told them we had plans and were not interested they pushed more offering to feed our kids "snacks" during it. I informed them we had just spend over $100 on groceries to cook breakfast and we had to leave around 10 for our activities and that Sunday we were sleeping in and heading out, they finally stopped and gave me the room keys to leave. Parking by our condo was very limited. Theres probably 6 or so condos and maybe 6 spots of parking. Mind you the condos sleep like 8+. We have used WorldMark properties in other areas and they did not push the timeshare meetings, so I was a little annoyed at this one espeically being late and storming and having kids that just sat in a car for 3 hours. It won't deter me from returning but I will definitely be upfront that I am not interested at all and want to just get to our room. Lastly is photos of the condos should be updated. It showed a photo of one room with a queen in it but it had 2 twin beds instead.

We booked this to attend a concert in Gruene. They called the evening before and said they were overbooked. Since I booked through and outside party they wouldn't put us up in another place. We had to do it ourselves even though it was not our error, it was theirs, for allowing it to be "overbooked." Double check your bookings people or you'll be stuck without a place to stay that you were excited about!

Great staff

Nice resort close to a nice historical area. Only negative was the pool was closed for a majority of our stay. Hope to come again.
