Candlewood Suites Lafayette by IHG

It was a nice place and well be staying again in the fall.

The lobby was nice, employees nice, size of room was great, amenities were good.

The smell! As soon as we got off elevator on the third floor it smelled like garbage or pets urine and the pet urine smell continued in our room. We could smell it during the whole stay. The room felt dirty because of the smell.

Staff is welcoming and helpful. Essentials were missing from the room ie: towels, hair dryer, silverware, ice bucket... Carpet squares are peeling from the floor leaving the floor exposed and I tripped several times walking from the bed to the bathroom. The room smelled musty like it hadn't been cleaned in a while.

Everything. Great place to stay. Super clean, quiet and overall great value.

Nothing

I know this is a no-smoking hotel but the hotel smelled like stale smoke. The gym did not have hand sanitizer or wipes to clean the machines. The gym smelled pretty bad too. The woman who checked us in was very nice and helpful.

Nice room , clean, close to freeway

Property need a serious re-set. Staff is slow and not eager to help their customers. Rooms were dusty and musty. Beds did not have clean sheets.
