I loved when we first entered and was greeted by Anita with a warm welcome I knew we where in the right place. Even with the work they were doing, didn't effect our stay. The hotel has a good location and helpful front desk staff. The elevator worked and the room was as described.

I used to live in Lake Jackson when the hotel had a good reputation. I was so disappointed to find a construction site upon arrival. Nothing prepared me for the demolition and condition of the parking lot, entrance, lobby and the entire 1st floor. Since I had prepaid 5 nights at the full rate I was surprised to face such a mess. I am a frequent traveler and am accustomed to reduced maid service but after 3 nights, my trash cans were full, the complimentary coffee not replaced and dirty towels building up. I asked the front desk and was informed that maid service is once a week only for stays for a week or longer. She suggested that I bring my dirty towels to the front desk and pick up clean ones if needed. In my opinion, this is not appropriate when paying over $130 per night in a small city hotel!

I am staying at the Candlewood Suites for a out of town job and i would recommend this hotel. The owner natin has been very welcoming for my stay and April and Annette have given great customer service day in and day out

Very Friendly staff. Annette and April at the front desk crew are always polite and helpful. Laura and the house keeping staff just as polite, friendly and always willing to help. Utilize the rental locker for use if you need cooking items, that are not available in your room.
