Logement sale et aucune hygiène

I was disappointed with my stay at Baymont by Wyndham. The first room assigned to us did not have air conditioning, even though my booking clearly stated that the room included AC. Since I cannot sleep comfortably without it, I went to the front desk to ask for assistance. The staff member explained that the hotel uses a “centralized system” where either AC or heating is turned on depending on the weather. This was confusing because my reservation specifically listed air conditioning as an included feature, so receiving a room without it was frustrating. Although our room was eventually changed, the interaction at the front desk did not feel warm or welcoming. The communication felt a bit dismissive, which made the situation more uncomfortable than it needed to be. Overall, the service did not meet expectations, and the first room should not have been assigned to us. .

I did not feel comfortable staying there and ended up leaving to stay at a different hotel

I came in at midnight for my reservation, and after issues with checking in (my friend paid for the reservation and I had to call her at midnight to confirm the card on file for the front desk), my room hadn't been cleaned. Like, used bath towels in the tub, the last person's compost and garbage on the desk, dirt on the carpet, the bed unmade with dirt and pillows all over the floor. I asked for another room as it obviously wasn't cleaned, but they didn't have any left. I then asked for at least bed sheets, and I got a fitted sheet and 1 blanket - no pillow cases, sheets, etc. I changed my own bed sheets because no one was going to do it for me. At this point I wouldn't be surprised if they have bed bugs here. Obviously the company doesn't have any standards. Honestly save the money and camp out at the airport instead - it is not worth it. An absolute mess and will make sure everyone know to never stay here. The only positive was the shuttle service - they were professional and fantastic!
