Hotel was nice and bed was comfortable. Shower was good with good pressure. Most of the staff was nice. Elevator sounds like it is on its last leg. The multiple air fresheners in the hallway on the fourth floor were overwhelming. Why are there so many?

The food was absolutely disgusting and a total disappointment. Sorry, but there’s no other way to say it. When you’re staying somewhere for 5 days on a budget the breakfast is very important. I’m honestly not being overly critical and expecting more than I should either. I get it… It’s an inexpensive hotel breakfast, but it was genuinely BAD. How do you burn microwaved scrambled eggs? The sausage was the worst I have ever seen or tasted and I usually love all sausage. BLACK COLD AND 99% GREASE with a NASTY taste. Everyone I saw that grabbed one of those patties that day threw them out, myself included. Every morning, even right after they came out, the potatoes were cold. It didn’t matter what kind of potatoes they were. Because the sausage gravy is so thick and the type of spoon that you use and the way it is stored at any given moment the spoon is pretty much full of cold gravy that you can’t even bang off…. So every time you get gravy, half of the gravy that ends up on your biscuit is ice cold. The lady that was doing the breakfast was very nice and it wasn’t her fault. You’re setting her up for failure. Don’t try to blame it on her! The hotel is fine but we won’t stay here next time 100% because of the breakfast.
