Hampton Inn & Suites Detroit-Canton

The customer service at the front desk was not good. The lady was very rude. She told me they didn’t clean the rooms but every other day that was not true. She just was not nice Barbara what’s her name?

Not worth the price of the room. The hotel is not clean. There was a dead cockroach in the pool. We didn’t have working lightbulbs in the lamps. The only positive is the woman working the check in desk. She is so nice and helpful.

Remodeling was being done, didn’t smell very good. Also needs upgrades in room

I wished the Expedia informed customers that Hampton was going under construction when i was booking. The hotel website mentions it but expedia did not. The power also went out during the last day of my stay On the positive side the room was clean but a little outdated. There was no microwave in the room which was really inconvenient. The breakfast was good.

Front desk unhelpful; TV didn't work. Not what I expect from a Hampton

Overall the hotel was great. Clean, had a pool, free breakfast was great , onsite parking, ease of access, perfect access to downtown Detroit & airport.They were in process of renovating rooms. We had one that was just finished.

Was a great room and most amenities breakfast was above average and well taken care of and maintained the coffee being provided 24/7 and good quality always stocked and clean everything was very clean except for the pool I was also led to believe there was a Jacuzzi I don't know why we stayed in one of the king suites it was a beautiful room we were kind of out by ourselves which was nice on the top floor very grateful to the staff for their hard work they were kind and careful with us we would stay there again if it wasn't for the hair floating around in the pool which made it very unappealing unfortunately we would have given it top rating I would have loved a jacuzzi though even a tub in the room or something would have been nice thank you
