A perfect stay at Marbrisa!!!! We stayed this time for 16 days!!!! I have a few shout outs so this review may be lengthy. First of all Kevin at the front desk is awesome!!! He always greets us like family and makes us feel right at home. He is friendly and caring and even remembers our name!! We saw Chris at check in and he was doing a great job with crowd control, we were checking in on the fourth of July, which is their biggest check in day and although we had to wait a little longer than normal....we loved our room. It was sparkling clean as always and was perfect. The live music around the firepit by the pool is awesome. Chris Torres is great and we see him multiple times every time that we stay there. We also saw The Johnson Brothers last time and they were great as well. I love that Marbrisa has so much live music poolside!!! Well we made it difficult on the staff this time since we had three reservations over our 16 days there and even had a 4th reservation for family for a few nights. Megan and Maya and Chris did an amazing job of keeping us in our same room over the course of our 16 days. We had a one bedroom unit and it was nice not to have to move three times. They even got our second reservation in the same building so our family was near us. Thank you all for making it happen!!! We were able to enjoy Coffee with the managers twice during our 16 day stay and we love hearing what other owners have to say about the property and HGVC in general. We also learn something new every time that we make it to one of these meetings. They always seem to have new info or nuggets of info about the property. one last shout out for Sarah, one morning when we saw her at the coffee meet and greet with the owners, we spoke with her about our mid week cleaning hadn’t happened, well she got it taken care of that day and we went about our day. Later that evening when we were headed up from the bbq we saw her assisting the housekeeping staff that night!!! That girl has a heck of a work ethic. We have always enjoyed the property even before we got to know the wonderful staff. However, since getting to know Megan and Kevin and Chris, and Sarah and Dave and now Maya, our vacation experiences have completely changed at Marbrisa. It has become our favorite place to vacation, even more so than our ocean front property on Maui. We feel so at home there and the amazing staff are the folks responsible for that. So I just wanted to thank you!!! We just really wanted to reach out and let you know how much we treasure our time there and how much we appreciate the staff at Marbrisa. I just cant recommend this resort enough!!! I think we have stayed here close to 20 times now and its soooooo refreshing to see the same faces every time that we return. The desk clerk was very nice and helpful as we checked in. Since it was our first stay, we would have liked knowing we could text the resort with questions or concerns. Instead I called the front desk. A light bulb needed changing. I called and it was changed while we were gone with a chocolate hammer left! Appreciated that. Our room is in The Cove area and has a decent sized refrigerator and microwave and large coffee maker with two large bags that would work for 8 cups. The bed and linens were great. Our end unit stayed cool until late afternoon without air conditioning. The bathroom was large. Wish there was a handle on the wall in the bath/shower for safety purposes, especially for us seniors. Our room faces the adult pool that was quite beautiful at night and nice and large to swim in. There are many adjustable lounges throughout the pool area as well as fire pits, a jacuzzi, and cabanas as well as hammocks. A large pool with a slide for children is a short distance away. Beside the adult pool is a bar serving adult beverages and a short list of food. I had a Caesar salad with chicken the first night that was quite good. Daily activities are optional, listed on boards throughout the resort. We received a list of area restaurants and a card good for 10-20% off of bills for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Many are located in the quaint downtown area of Carlsbad right above the ocean. It was fun to explore! We would gladly return to the MarBrisa Hilton resort.

Friendly staff, great food and drinks, with a beautiful atmosphere I would highly recommend this place for a family vacation or just adult getaway.

Prompt responses from staff when we needed extra amenities. Miguel from maintenance and Sara from reception desk were outstanding. Thank you for making our stay memorable.

Enjoyed my stay at Mabrisa Hotel, didn’t even feel like checking out, simply because of how accommodating, relaxing, quiet and pleasurable my experience was, they have 3 pools, jacuzzi’s , recreational activities to keep you entertained, MarBrisa hotel is truly a definition of a grand resort, not to forget rooms were clean, felt like I was in my own house, it has kitchen, dining table, living room and a bedroom,I absolutely loved it like I said I really didn’t wanna leave even as a solo traveller and member

My husband and I had a very nice stay at this resort. We met Diana at the concierge desk. She was helpful and informative. She answered all our questions. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

Just like all the HGV properties. If it weren’t for the high pressure PERSISTENT marketing an sales it would be a great place to stay.

Great stay. The property is beautiful and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. We stayed four days and didn’t want to leave! The pools in the Cove neighborhood were awesome—so clean and comfortable. We really felt like we were on a true resort vacation. The room had many nice touches like the giant soaking tub, comfy living space and fully equipped kitchen. There was a broom, laundry basket and step stool in the “pantry”, as well laundry detergent. We took advantage of the free laundry in the building—helped while we traveled with two young kids. This is a timeshare property so of course they really want you to attend their sales pitch. We did not, and were not shy about saying no thank you. They weren’t annoying about it like some other properties we’ve been to in the past. This property had a private entrance into Legoland that was 12/10 awesome! Five minute walk from our room into Legoland—I was so impressed. That amenity alone made this hotel totally worth it. To receive the pass to use the special entrance, I had to chat with a friendly sales guy after I checked in at the front desk. He went through this whole 5 min pitch, gave me my pass and 100 other papers about the property and asked when I’d like to attend a sales meeting. I said “no thanks, not interested.” He handed me two ice cream bars and I went on my way. Not overly forceful but it did add 15 mins to my check in process and I don’t think it was avoidable since they practically wave you down lol. We will absolutely come back when we’re in the area. Loved it!
