Mountain Park Hotel

I stay here whenever I'm in the area. It's a bit basic but quite adequate for my needs, and it's in a lovely setting.

remote for the tv not paired up and down to change the channel bathroom door did not close or lock properly stayed in better

Big car park, quiet area, nice staff, a picnic area near the reception area, overlooking a bay which you can see if your room is in the First floor.

Universal chargers on car park. The room reflected the price. Sheets were clean and bed was comfy. I would stay here again.

Place was nice and the staff friendly but the excessive noise from the events both nights we stayed spoiled the visit for us

Small bathroom with no mirror snd only very small basin on top of toilet. No bedside tables and only one chair.

First stay at Mountain Park hotel Flint. Great welcome off lovely, friendly staff. Welcome information given. Our room was lovely and spacious. Very clean and a comfortable bed. We didnt stay for breakfast so couldnt comment on the food The only picky but is the Wifi kept dipping in and out which made it difficult at times but not the end of the world. Also our room was facing the carpark and as we were there on one of the hottest days we had to open the window in the evening. Unfortunately there was a lot of noise for a bit with cars charging at the ev points and keeping the engine running and i was woken at 2am by someone shouting outside the room next to us. But it would not stop us staying here again.

The location is beautiful. Really nice place to stay but i had a few hiccups while staying. Shower was missing the glass to stop the water entering the bedroom so the floor got flooded. They did apologise and let us use next door (noone was there for the weekend) found the sink had a crack in the middle. No aircon in the room. Couldnt leave the windows open as all through the night, there are tesla cars re-charging in the back of the carpark so didnt feel safe. Staf were friendly and helpful.

Needs refurbishment. Exterior & photos give a good impression. Interior didn’t live up to it. Room wasn’t cleaned properly. Restaurant was like a motorway service eating establishment. Weren’t told about noise issue until after booking & paying non refundable price.

The hotel is okay what I would expect for 3 star a little rough around the edges. It was an overnight visit. Few downsides, the windows were impossible to open (unless you about 7ft tall…) and the room became stuffy very quickly. If you do open them make sure it’s at the right angle in case of rain! Thin walls and if someone happens to be smoking something very pungent nearby expect the scent to join you in the room - easily solved with allowing the vents to be closed or better sealant around the doors (hard to work out where is was coming in). Staff are lovely though and breakfast was very good!
