The staff were genuinely friendly and very helpful, even though we arrived quite late in the evening. The views over St.Austell bay are fabulous if you have a room at the front. The breakfast included in the price is not bad.

The owner was arrogant and unprofessional. The mattresses and pillows are cheap and uncomfortable.

The shower did not drain very well and I kept turning it off so it wouldn't fill up. I would not have been able to wash my hair. I think the cleaners need to remove the plug hole as I do at home and remove trapped hair. Not pleasant if this is not done regularly, but easy when done after every stay.

Perfect location. Sea view. Friendly staff. Spacious bedroom. Warm and cosy for a November getaway. Delicious food.

It's a shame the shower was poor.

There was a good view from outside as most of the windows inside was condensation on them and you couldn’t see out

It was dirty damp and in need of an overhaul completely

Hotel is a wee bit tired but it is priced correctly.
